Sullivan "Sully" is the newest addition to our family. We adopted him from a local rescue in Buffalo, but he is from West Virginia. He was found alone in a dumpster, with no litter mates or mother. We have no idea how big he will be or what breed he actually is. We thought he was a black lab, but now that he is older, he is looking way bigger than that. He is the most cuddly dog there is, and we often find him curled up in blankets or on the couch. He loves to make mischief, climbing on the couch, where he isn't allowed, and stealing anything and everything. Isn't he a cutie!
We are a family of 6 plus our dog. Milo and Erin are the parents (we are high school sweethearts). Then there are "the bigs" Daylia and Hazyl, "the littles" Maia and Elias, and "the black dog" Sullivan (Sully). Our family loves opportunities to share how we still found hope after we lost our middle child Josiah at 8 months old. Our son died of a rare heart defect called HLHS. In that journey, we also learned that every day is a gift from God. So, from that moment on, we boldly choose to Carpe Diem!
